SAREE PAINTING DONE ON A REXINE SHEET

MEKALA ANURADHADAS (Born on 06-06-1979), W/o Ambadas, residing at Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Anuradhadas with the support of her husband has done a painting of saree on a white color rexine sheet, which measures around 48.5 x 275 inches, saree painting size is 44.4 x 241.49 inches, (includes Blouse & Pallu) and was done from 08 March 2020 to 05 September 2020, total 90 days, 360 hours ( excludes lockdown period ). The Royal Blue and Gold colors that are used for screen printing were used. The making use of screen printing colors for painting the saree on a rexine sheet is the special feature. This was done to create a new trend in saree painting and Anuradhadas marvelous talent in art has been appreciated.

LARGEST RANGOLI ART OF CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ

Chatrapati Shivaji was the famous Indian Marata king who had the utmost courage to stand against the vast ocean of Mughal rule, single-handedly. Saundarya Bansode, aged 12 years, D/O Sandip Bansod, native of Kopargaon Dist. Ahmednagar, Maharashtra State, India. She has made a huge rangoli art of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, measuring 841 ft. X 531 ft. i.e. 4,46,571 sq.ft.The Rangoli art was started on 26th January 2019 and was completed on 25th February 2019. 14 cctv cameras were fixed at the site and entire event is covered from day 1 to till the end of the event. Saundarya’s Marvelous Talent in Art and also her admiration towards the great, legendary Marata King Chatrapati Shivaji has made her to achieve this record.

 

Most Number of People Performed Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar)

To commemorate the occasion of Yoga Day, the Most Number of “Sun Salutations”, has been performed by 1,10,000 participants on 21 June 2018, hosted at Balgaon, Jath (Sangli District, Maharashtra, India). The purpose of the event was to spread an awareness about the importance & benefits of Yoga. The inspiration behind the programme was Shri Chandrakantdada Patil, Revenue & PWD Minister, Government of Maharashtra. The event was organized by Shri Vijaykumar Nagorao Kalam (Collector & District Magistrate, Sangli), and his entire team as well as Shri Amrutanand Swamigalu (Yog guru) & Team of Shri Gurudev Ashram, Balgaon, Jath. It was co-ordinated and supervised under the guidance of Shri Trigun Kulkarni (Residential Deputy Collector, Sangli).

Largest Voluntary Blood Donation & Awareness Camp On the Occasion of Indian Army Day Celebrations

Army Day 2017 Celebrations by Directorate General of Medical Services (Army) was initiated by carrying out Voluntary Blood Donation & Awareness Camp in major Military Stations of the Country. Military Hospital, Secunderabad, in association with Rotary Club of Hyderabad Centennial (RCHC), RI Dist 3150 (Club ID C000068057) jointly organised a Mega Voluntary Blood Donation & Awareness Campat multiple venues of Military Stations in the twin cities of Hyderabad &Secunderabad on 17 January 2017.The main aim of the camp was to spread awareness and help patients suffering from Thalassemia and Leukaemia. Eleven Blood Banks of Telangana State belonging to Indian Red Cross Society, MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre has collected the blood units. A record total number of 2795 Blood Units were collected during the above massive drive. The Military Hospital , Secunderabad, as the main organiser has thus achieved the Marvelous World Record, with a title of “The Largest Blood Donations & Awareness Camp.
